TCM Meridians × Modern Laser Therapy — Painless Relief to Restore Vitality

Laser acupuncture merges TCM meridian theory with modern light therapy, using painless red and near-infrared light to unblock meridians, improve circulation, and restore the body’s balance and self-healing.

Modern lifestyle issues such as neck and shoulder tension, insomnia, fatigue, and metabolic imbalances often originate from blocked meridians and poor circulation of Qi and Blood.

What is Laser Acupuncture?
Modern Light Therapy for Painless Meridian Regulation

Laser acupuncture is an innovative therapy that integrates TCM meridian theory with advanced light technology. Targeted red and near-infrared laser beams stimulate acupuncture points with precision, achieving effects similar to traditional needling—but completely painless, non-invasive, and needle-free.

Scientific Basis

The biostimulation effect of laser light can:

  • Enhance local microcirculation and promote blood and lymph flow

  • Activate cellular metabolism, accelerating repair and regeneration

  • Balance the autonomic nervous system, relieving stress and anxiety

  • Deeply regulate meridians and Qi-Blood balance for holistic wellness

Safety and Applications

Laser acupuncture uses low-level laser therapy (LLLT) with gentle energy and no side effects, suitable for:

  • Needle-sensitive patients or those afraid of traditional acupuncture

  • Children, elderly, or individuals with weaker constitutions

  • Chronic pain, fatigue, or insomnia sufferers

  • Anyone seeking integrative TCM care to enhance overall health

Treatment Experience

During the session, the laser probe lightly touches the acupuncture points—painless and non-invasive. Most people feel Qi and Blood flow improvements within 1–3 sessions, while 5–6 sessions or more can establish long-term, stable benefits.

Expert Perspective — Dr. Chen Hongru

"TCM meridians are the body’s highways of energy. Blockages lead to pain and fatigue."

Dr. Chen emphasizes that Lucky Phoenix’s Laser Acupuncture combines traditional meridian knowledge with modern technology to safely and effectively address common pain and metabolic imbalances. Paired with herbal oils and personalized health guidance, it helps restore body balance and vitality from the root.

Multiple Benefits of Laser Acupuncture

  • Painless & Non-Invasive: Alternative to traditional needles, fully comfortable

  • Deep Circulation Activation: Near-infrared light penetrates up to 5 cm, improving blood flow and immunity

  • Metabolic Balance: Stimulates Qi-Blood, regulates the autonomic nervous system, and supports better sleep and overall health

  • Drug-Free & Safe: No medication or anesthesia required

Ideal Candidates

  • Chronic Pain & Metabolic Imbalances:
Individuals suffering from long-term pain (e.g., neck, back, joint stiffness) or metabolic syndrome (e.g., high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver) who want to improve circulation, relieve pain, adjust constitution, and accelerate recovery.

  • Constitutional Wellness:
Those with cold hands and feet, poor circulation, fatigue, or weakened immunity can benefit from meridian stimulation to restore balance and enhance self-healing.

  • Middle-Aged & Older Adults:
As metabolism and self-healing decline with age, laser acupuncture can activate meridians, support metabolism, slow degeneration, and maintain vitality.

  • High-Stress Professionals:
Individuals in high-pressure jobs (finance, tech, sales) experiencing neck tension, headaches, or insomnia can benefit from laser acupuncture to relieve stress, regulate autonomic function, and restore relaxation.

  • Preventive Health Red-Flag Cases:
People whose medical check-ups reveal high blood pressure, cholesterol, or blood sugar can use laser acupuncture as an adjunct to restore balance and restart healthy circulation.

Easily integrates wellness into daily life—Laser Moxibustion makes regular health maintenance simple and convenient.

I generally maintain good health, except for occasional mild pain in my left knee. Rehabilitation and chiropractic treatments helped, but I prefer to avoid hospitals unless absolutely necessary.

When I first tried the Laser-Moxibustion Therapy, I immediately realized it was the tool I needed. Being able to use it at home saved me trips to the clinic and allowed me to address minor issues instantly. After starting regular use, I noticed my fascia became significantly more flexible, my meditation sessions extended from 30 minutes to an hour, and my overall body mobility improved. Fatigue or soreness could be quickly relieved with just a session. There was a period when I felt fine and stopped using it for three months—my fascia tightened again, reminding me that consistent maintenance is key. Now, I’ve integrated Laser-Moxibustion into my daily routine, effortlessly taking care of my body without scheduling special sessions. I am grateful to Director Chen Hongru of Phoenix TCM for guiding me toward a truly unrestricted way of self-care, helping me regain confidence in proactively maintaining my health.

A real-life example of recovery: chronic cough stabilized and overall health improved.

After thyroid surgery, my constitution became weaker. Seasonal changes or minor colds would trigger prolonged coughing, sometimes severe enough that I could only breathe while sitting up in bed.

It wasn’t until 2024 that I attended an event co-hosted by Phoenix TCM and Xianghua Tian, where I first encountered Laser-Moxibustion Therapy as a self-care tool. After learning about its principles and benefits, I immediately purchased a device and consulted Director Chen Hongru to determine which points to target based on my own condition. Following her guidance, I applied consistent daily treatment to specific acupoints, such as the throat, lung meridian, and navel area, focusing on regulating qi and replenishing deficiencies. Within just three months, during a follow-up at the Metabolism Department of Taipei Medical University, my physician was impressed by the noticeable stabilization of my condition. Later in the year, when I caught a cold, I immediately consulted Director Chen to adjust the application points and combined it with Chinese herbal medicine. My cough did not worsen and improved quickly. Over the past year, Laser-Moxibustion has become an essential part of my daily wellness routine, not only helping me regulate my constitution but also restoring my confidence in self-care. I am grateful for the professional guidance of Phoenix TCM, which has transformed “at-home health maintenance” from a concept into a practical, actionable routine.

From Asthma and High Blood Pressure to Renewed Health—Quick Recovery from COVID

After nearly a year of laser moxibustion, my health has improved significantly. I used to suffer from frequent asthma attacks, unstable blood pressure, and shortness of breath even when walking, but now my cardiovascular function is stable, my blood pressure is normal, and my energy and vitality have increased.

Two weeks ago, I contracted COVID-19 and experienced fever, headache, and sore throat. With targeted laser moxibustion on the Dazhui and Tiantu points, my headache and coughing eased quickly. Following Dr. Hongru’s guidance, I also used throat lozenges, monk fruit tablets, and detox teas to support recovery. By the sixth day, my rapid test turned negative, and I recovered well. Although I am still managing tinnitus, I am confident that continued treatment will bring further improvement. Laser moxibustion activates meridians, strengthens internal organs, and boosts immunity—making it an excellent tool for home health care. I am grateful for Dr. Hongru’s guidance and care.

Post-Surgery Recovery with Laser Acupuncture – Case of Dr. Hsu Cui-Ling’s Mother

I am Dr. Hsu Cui-Ling. In April and May this year, my 78-year-old mother fell twice. On May 30, she was diagnosed with a traumatic subdural hematoma with transient loss of consciousness, and emergency surgery was scheduled for May 31.

Before surgery, I used Laser Acupuncture to stabilize her condition, primarily employing 830 nm and 650 nm probes on acupoints on the head and palms, and targeting the left hand’s 1.3 fingers or other areas of discomfort. The surgery proceeded smoothly, and by June 4, she was discharged with independent daily function. Since then, I have continued Laser Acupuncture treatments 5–6 days per week, alternating 830 nm and 650 nm probes on both palms and key acupoints to support her stable recovery. A recorded session on June 13 confirmed her overall progress, further highlighting the clinical value of Laser Acupuncture in post-operative rehabilitation.
